Great Pub restaurant. The food was nicely presented and tasted good too . The staff were friendly. It is however quite pricey £135 for a meals for 4 including drinks.

Came for a few drinks with friends, I ordered a gin and tonic, of all the gin and tonics I've ever bought this was bottom of the list, served in a small highball type glass, no frills at all, nearly £8. I've had G&T'S all around the world and the majority make an effort, just no effort here whatsoever, it actually put me off ever coming to a pub again, I mean I can make my own at home with a lot more passion than what I experienced at this pub, up your game or you'll just be another statistic of the huge amount of pubs that have shut thier doors, you actually have to make an effort to keep your business running. And yes it's the right review for the right pub.

The fish on the specials menu and the leg of lamb were cooked to perfection! Paid extra for booking the pod and here’s why you lost a star.. the music box in the pod was busted, the batteries in the tiny tree decor needed replacement, hence unlit..and the table candle remained unlit as well. The pod was too warm and the temperature controls didn’t work. We had to keep the window cracked throughout. Not nitpicking, but if someone pays extra for booking a pod, the least that can be done is to perform a quick check prior to the service. The sticky toffee pudding was scrumptious, though! Will be back.. but not for the pod.

We cycled from st Ives and popped in on the way back glad we did. Sat outside beautiful garden the sun was shining. The staff so friendly. We had a 2 course lunch excellent value it was fantastic loved it. We would definitely visit again.

A very nice pub offering excellent food. The dining area is cosy with a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, providing good service. The prices are reasonable. There is space for dining outside, in the back garden. There are also a few pods at the rear garden for those who prefer to have a more private area for dining. Overall a great place.

First initial experience of this eatery, as my friend and I had gone to swim in the lake nearby. What an experience. The duck parcel was excellent. The coley was excellent. Only thing, a little salt wouldn’t go amiss. It needed it. The potatoes ( I think dauphinois ) was divine. The crunch from the nuts was a nice touch and the sauce was great. Again, seasoning. Now. Desert. Sticky toffee. What can I say; it was delish. A great experience overall. Compliments to the chefs and the team at front of house. Great going. Keep those standards as they are. Thanks again

Excellent service, food was very good, well cooked and presented, good ambience, seating and decor. This will be a regular dining spot on future UK visits.

We went on a cold and snowy Wednesday lunchtime. Consequently the pub was fairly quiet but warm and welcoming, with an open fire. The staff were friendly and familiar with the menu. I had chestnut arancini, celeriac schnitzel and Aogato An enjoyable meal; I'd like to got there again - possibly on a warmer sunnier day

Lovely Christmas meal here! The pod was absolutely brilliant, it was a perfect size, had its own heater and we streamed our Christmas songs through the radio inside. The food was delicious, we all loved our meals, couldn't fault anything. We had the duck parcels, terrine, soup, Roast Turkey and Pork belly for mains and a great selection of deserts. Ollie who looked after us was very attentive and a credit to the team here. We are very much looking forward to having our Christmas meal here again next Christmas!
