Was on time and helpful. The engineer looked at out appliance and explained the repair would be more expensive than a new machine. Refreshing honesty.

As someone who has a lot of anxiety around workmen, Crater Electrical were one of the best experiences I've had to date. From calling up and explaining what I thought was wrong with my oven, they were able to get a friendly engineer round within a couple of days and quickly identify and fix my oven at a very reasonable cost. They also made sure to give me a call half an hour beforehand like I requested which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend and will be saving their number for any future electrical jobs.

Called advised Crater it was the heating element. Guy came out told me it was the controll panel said it would be too expensive to repair and to call hotpoint as it would be free under warranty...Hotpoint came out 2 weeks later said it WAS the heating element charged me £150....Received a £28 invoice from Crater for absolutely nothing and false information. based on that experience I wouldn't recommend or use again. An engineer was able to come in a few days, provide a quick and honest analysis of the problem, and make an unbiased recommendation on a replacement (which involved purchasing it from a third party, not themselves). This is the second excellent experience I've had with this company. Well worth the £28 call out charge.
