I found that place after season but doesn’t matter I’m so happy that I did, it’s my best place to relax when is warm and I can swim if the weather is nice.

Great opening to the new session. Lovely fresh water and easy entry and exit from the lake. No weeds 😀

Great place for paddle boarding! Really lovely facilities and would love to come back and stay for a bit longer. Grateful to have floats on the paddles for if (when in my case) you fall in.

What a great find. Facilities are 5*, clean changing rooms, hot showers. The lake is surprisingly warm for this time of year, clear and the team are very accommodating, keen to help and give tips to improve. My daughter was very nervous and they took the time needed to get her not only on the paddle board, but even standing. Wake boarding tuition was amazing, my son was up and going with in 10 mins. Will be frequent visitors now we found this gem. Thanks guys

Amazing team, really friendly and skilled. I have ZERO skills for sports and these guys made me be able to not fall in every 2 seconds 💪 Great place to stop for a bite and enjoy the weather

Great place to learn to wakeboard, open water swim or just chill out by the lake and have some great food at the Cafe. Really friendly staff and always very welcoming to all. If you want to try wakeboarding I’d recommend these guys, they will talk you thought it step by step and always really supportive

Went on a Thursday evening for the first time to try swimming. The swimming is run by a different outfit to the water sports, in a different part of the lake. The staff were super friendly and everything really easy and laid back whilst also feeling really safe. There are boys to mark out distance and they check you in and out so you can find out how long you were in and how far you swim (and they email you the stats afterwards!). Definitely will become a regular here!

I was attending a wedding, so didn't visit the lake until the venue was closed but there seemed to be quite a few visitors during the day. More signs and earlier would be useful for a non-local - I left the area many years ago but come back for family occasions. Great as a wedding venue, although that's probably due to the wedding organisers. On a sunny day, a beautiful place for a party.

Came here Paddle boarding with a friend whilst visiting the area. Lovely lake area, water nice and clean. Lots of space for people to paddle out away from others. Plenty of seats by the restaurant to have snacks and watch the other water sports taking place. Staff were lovely and helpful. Changing rooms nice and clean. Could just do with a little more space, other than that, thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
